This article resonates with me a lot.
Artificial intelligence dates back to the 1960s, so as a category it falls into “things that seem perfectly natural because they existed when I was born”. However, some of it (like large language models used to help write documents) comes across as natural as computer viruses, spam and slow internet connections (all of which also pre-date my birth).
Much like belladonna, simply because something is natural and old doesn’t mean it’s good for humans.
