I would think that you should be able to get to the campsite on Thursday. This is exactly what we did, but it was getting late by the time we arrived. It is quite a lengthy drive from Zeebrugge to Le Mans, so if you can share driving duties so that you get a break, that will probably be the quickest and safest way.

One thing I didn’t mention in the blog post is that we got stuck in a traffic jam while driving through Paris. On paper it is the quickest route (just), but comes with an increased risk of getting caught in the rush hour. So on the way back we steered well clear of Paris and went the northern route (via Rouen and Calais) instead. This was a much less stressful and more consistent drive.

I won’t be making it to Le Mans this year, but hopefully will be back in a future year soon!
