Understanding what students really need from a virtual learning environment — presented at UX Glasgow virtual meetup
This week I presented to the UX Glasgow community about our user research into the needs of students and staff working with course materials digitally at the University of Edinburgh.
This presentation had been planned as a physical event in Glasgow. Instead, it was hosted remotely.
This was my first real experience of presenting to a live audience remotely. It was a bit odd not to be able to read the room, or tell if my jokes were going down well. But after I finished, the feedback was great and we had some really good questions.
Here are the slides.
I lead teams and organisations to make human-centred decisions. I am a lead content designer and information architect at the Scottish Government.
