Previous blogs

(November 2011 — November 2012)

A personal blog I set up shortly after closing down doctorvee.

(December 2004 — November 2011)

My personal blog, where I wrote about everything — but mainly politics and technology. Briefly, there was a spin-off Formula 1 blog, vee8. The archives of that were merged back into doctorvee.

At its peak, this blog regularly attracted over 10,000 readers every month. I made a number of appearances in newspapers and was interviewed by BBC radio multiple times.

doctorvee (version 1)

(December 2002 — December 2004)

My earliest experiments in blogging and web design, started while I was still at school. This was initially attached to a Geocities website (yes, really) before the blog began to take precedence.

Other projects

Scottish Roundup

(September 2006 — September 2013)

Weekly compilation of the best and most notable Scottish blogging. Over time more and more guest editors became involved. Demands on my time led to me stepping back and leaving it to the guest editors, until the site finally fizzled out in September 2013.

The website attracted a fair amount of attention from the media, and Scottish Roundup once featured on BBC Radio 5 Live.
